At Love to Dance School of Ballet we recognise the need to provide a fun and creatively stimulating learning environment with a high level of expectation.
Our keen and caring awareness of the students development is nurtured over a term, a year, and a lifetime. The quality training we provide in our ballet classes act as a platform for students who may wish to dance recreationally or pursue a professional career.
Students may enter classes from 3 years old and up.
3 and 4 year olds - Kindy Ballet classes are delivered using imagery to engage the imagination while developing gross motor skills such skipping, jumping and galloping. These classes are designed to allow freedom of expression as well as learning the building blocks for future classical ballet training.
Kindy Students attend one class per week.
Pre-Primary and Primary Ballet
5 and 6 year olds – Students begin learning the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus in Pre-Primary and Primary ballet. With the philosophy of ‘feeling before form’ students ease into more structured classical ballet training while embracing 21st Century dance concepts and knowledge.
Classical Ballet - Royal Academy of Dance (RAD)
At the Love to Dance School of Ballet we train our students under the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus. The RAD is the largest classical ballet examining body in the world and maintains quality training standards across the globe.
We offer RAD examinations for ballet students Grades 1 - 8 and Vocational levels.
Through weekly ballet classes, RAD Examinations offer ballet students a challenge and a strong sense of achievement, receiving recognition from the world’s largest classical ballet examining body.
Grades 1 – 7 Ballet - Students attend two ballet lessons a week.
Vocational and Grade 8 Award - Students attend three ballet lessons a week
